*Art Meets Radical Openness (AMRO) Research Labs is a series of artistic research projects that take place in the year preceding an AMRO Festival. Organised by the Linz-based initiative servus.at, AMRO Research Labs aim to function as a think-tank, in which the invited artists (groups or individuals) shape the themes of the upcoming AMRO Festival. As the Research Lab takes place between two AMRO Festivals, it acts as a bridge between these two editions and, because of this continuity, results in an ever-growing body of research, that develops organically over the years and in parallel with the festival.
